How We Make Dentistry More Comfortable & Efficient

Using modernized dental technology, our Woodside Dental Care team can deliver a more comfortable and efficient experience for you and your family. With these innovative devices and instruments, we can deliver more predictable results, produce higher-quality images that allow for more accurate treatment planning, and help you save time in the chair all at once.

Digital Dental Impressions

The inaccuracies that can come with using physical impressions can lead to poorly fitted restorations; however, with our Trios and iTero digital impressions, we can produce a more precise image. Using a handheld device to scan your teeth, the details captured lead to an enhanced 3D model that our lab technicians can easily use to produce customized and natural-looking restorations.

CT/Cone Beam Scanner

This device takes hundreds of pictures of your mouth and head from different angles, all coming together to form a single, three-dimensional model. It’s commonly used when preparing a dental implant treatment plan or root canal, as it enables us to consider every detail and personalize all aspects when performing these procedures.

Soft Tissue Laser

When it comes to treating gum disease or performing crown lengthening or gum recontouring, we use our Waterlase soft tissue laser. The device offers a much quicker and more comfortable approach compared to traditional methods because of its precise, concentrated beam of light. By only targeting specific tissues that need to be removed, the laser dramatically reduces bleeding and swelling and allows for a faster recovery.

Intraoral Camera

With our Mouthwatch intraoral camera, we can better educate you and your loved ones on the status of your oral health. This device shows in real time what is occurring among your teeth and gums so that you have a better understanding of why treatment is recommended. It also gives our team a chance to more closely identify signs of decay or other problems so we can address them early.
